Bio: Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, hockey has always been a fixture in my life. Whether it be playing youth hockey growing up, attending local SJHL, University or amateur games, or coaching minor hockey, I’ve always had a high level of emotional investment in the sport of hockey. I’ve been a writer for more than 22 years in total and have always tried to find ways to flex my creativity through means of singing/songwriting, short stories and, over the better part of the last decade, sports writing.
In 2018, I was hired by H&L Media as a part-time writer, covering the NHL for a website formerly known as TradeRumours.com, which has since re-branded to Markerzone.com. I spent nearly 4 years with this team, learning about the business, prior to founding 807 Sports Enterprises in 2022, working in partnership with H&L Media to deliver the most up-to-date news surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs for their website, MapleLeafsInsider.com, now MapleLeafsDaily.com.
