Rivalry heats up between Sheldon Keefe and Bruins coach Jim Montgomery

After Max Domi bumped his goaltender, Bruins coach Jim Montgomery believes that Jeremy Swayman may be in the Leafs' heads. Sheldon Keefe simply doesn't buy it.

Swayman has won six straight games against the Leafs (regular season and playoffs), with five of those wins coming this season. The numbers speak for themselves. Following Game 3's win for Swayman he has a record of 5-0 with a stingy .964 save percentage and 1.70 goals against average this year. How can Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery not start him for Game 4?

Montgomery insinuated that Max Domi's purposeful push on Swayman during a tv timeout during Game 3 was out of frustration because Swayman is in the Toronto's head a little bit.




said the Boston head coach.

Leaf head coach Sheldon Keefe was quick to dismiss this notion.



Toronto can only blame themselves for being down 2-1 in this series. During Game 3, the Maple Leafs had five power play opportunities and couldn't convert on one. Through the series they have scored one power play goal on eleven chances. This simply isn't good enough and could likely cost them the series if they can't get their struggling power play going.

Game 4 will be at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night. Regardless of who is in goal, Toronto will need to be far better on executing their scoring chances.
