Joe Bowen took to X to voice his displeasure with Maple Leafs fans over disappointing behaviour after the team dropped Game 3 to the Boston Bruins.

The legendary "Voice of the Maple Leafs", Bowen was not happy with the outcome of Game 3 between the Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins. The Leafs were let down by their power play, goaltending and, of course, the officials.

Bowen, however, chose to lay blame for the loss on Leafs fans themselves. According to Joe, the building was far too quiet on Wednesday. In Joe's eyes, the fans failed to get behind the team as they should have, and he took to X (Formerly Twitter) to voice his displeasure.

While he may have a point, the fans in the building did get extremely loud at times. Ryan Reaves and Simon Benoit had the fans blowing the roof off the place when they threw a couple of massive hits on David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha. Leafs fans cheer when there's something to cheer for, although I have to admit, the suits in the lower bowl are often too busy eating their kale salads to get up and make noise.

The hard truth is that, as Leafs fans, there is always a level of anxiety to watching a game live. When the Leafs are winning, there's the terrifying thought of them blowing it. When they're trailing, it's hard to trust them to come through for us. This is all learned behaviour. We've been through a lot with this team, so excuse us for being nervous, (especially in the playoffs) especially against the Bruins.
