Some breaking news to announce surrounding the Hockey Canada 2018 World Junior Championship scandal, which took place in London, Ontario following Team Canada's gold medal win.

By now, everyone has heard about the assault allegations that several prominent hockey names are facing and that the London Police has directed 5 players to turn themselves in within a certain duration of time. We also know that there's an official press conference coming on February 5th. What we didn't know was, other than Alex Formenton, who else was involved. Now, we have our 5 names.

Per TSN, the 5 players facing multiple serious charges include Forementon, along with Philadelphia Flyers netminder Carter Hart, New Jersey Devils forward Michael McLeod, New Jersey Devils defenseman Cal Foote and Calgary Flames forward Dillon Dube.

Per ESPN's Emily Kaplan, if/when the official charges are announced, there could be some monumental changes, which may involve either a suspension or a contract termination. It's unclear at this point whether they would need to be found guilty in order for teams to pursue a contract termination, or if their involvement and the charges they face is enough to give teams or the league the option to take action.
